Philips SHE2642/27 In Ear Headphone (Purple) (Discontinued By Manufacturer) Review

These earbuds are a wonderful addition to my collection of electronics. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can say that the sound quality on these buds are impressive. The bass is powerful and the treble is crystal clear. They are also very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The only con is that they have been discontinued, so it may be difficult to find another pair in the future. Headphones are really a matter of taste. But I found them VERY comfortable and durable. My headphones tend to wrinkle and get tangled in jacket pockets. Many other models fell apart within a few months. I liked the look of these and one day I bought a set from a pharmacy. They were great and since then I've changed about five pairs in three years. Please note that many of them still work - I just like to keep a few in my briefcase, coat, car, etc. Great design.

At the end of May 2012 I bought two pairs: black, silver and turquoise. A few months ago, due to experimentation and sloppy handling, the black and silver pair began to only work on the left side. The turquoise pair still works on both sides after the second accidental hit in the washing machine, but the volume is softer and sounds a little muffled on the left.
