Review on πŸ“± 3-Pack Samsung Galaxy S10e Tempered Glass Screen Protector - New Version with Camera Hole Opened Frame Installation | HD Clear, 9H Hardness, Case Friendly by Jason Nguyen

Revainrating 2 out of 5

NOT compatible with sunglasses or other polarized lenses

Easy installation: 4/5. The installation worked almost perfectly with the installation case. I had to make sure the screen protector was fully aligned with the left side to avoid a slight gap in the screen, although it took 2 times. Touch screen: 4/5. Everything worked fine for the most part. Once or twice a day, a swipe may not register even with the touchscreen setting enabled on the phone. The biggest problem with a screen protector is that it is not compatible with polarized lenses. If you look at the screen through sunglasses, you will see a blurry rainbow distortion. See the attached images to see how the phone looks with and without the protective film on the sunglasses. As you can see, the one with the screen protector has rainbow distortion. Worse, this distortion changes depending on the angle the user is looking at the phone (which makes sense since that's how polarized lenses work). It's a major distraction for me, especially when I have to rely on my phone (like Google Maps) while driving with my sunglasses on. This was the case with all three screen protectors, so I think it could be a built-in defect of the product or batch I received. TL; DR: If you don't wear sunglasses and want a durable screen protector, go for it. This screen fixes many of the issues with the previous version (like the lack of a camera cutout) and is probably on the higher end of budget tempered glass screen protectors. However, I will be returning this product as it is very distracting when looking at it through my sunglasses.
