Review on 🌰 Walnut Stain Tronco by Fletchers Mill by Joe Ashan

After looking through some cheap pepper mills we finally bit the bullet and decided to pack a little more into the set and are so glad we did! It seems like you definitely get what you pay for with pepper grinders! The reason it feels different and we hope it will last is because of the metal grinding components and not ceramic or plastic like our previous coffee grinders. We also ordered a matching salt grinder with a nylon grinding system to keep salt from corroding. Both are easily adjustable depending on how you want the grind and don't seem to struggle with finer grinds at all. The mill is actually 10 inches high. so larger than most items on the table. But I like it! The shape is very smooth and the wood is smooth. We ordered ours in walnut and if I had one complaint it was that the grain of the wood didn't show very well. It's not the manufacturer's fault though, we could have ordered in a lighter color or a different set that clearly shows the grain, but the mechanics were important to us so we adjusted our visual expectations a little to make them ok bring to get a set that works really well in our price range. We also like that the top of the grinder has the letters "P" and "S". They are sharp and look elegant! We've only had them a few weeks, but the smooth grinding mechanics make them feel like they'll hopefully last a lifetime (I know they can last that long because my parents have had a set of these for over 50 years).
