Review on πŸŽ₯ Amcrest 5Series 4K POE NVR 8CH 4K/6MP/5MP/4MP/3MP/1080P Network Video Recorder (8-Port PoE) - Supports up to 8 x 4K IP Cameras, Accommodates up to 2 x 10TB Hard Drives (Not Included) by Andrew Cramer

This is a very "universal " NVR, almost identical to the Lorax and Reolink versions.

Existing reviews have clearly shown that the two disadvantages are that it is not very "user friendly" and has noisy fans. But those comments also describe much of the competition. The "handy" part goes away over time, but the fan issue remains. There are several videos on YouTube describing how to swap out fans, but the truth is that the noise is mostly due to airflow in these small cases. Recently, Reolink stopped using fans and I think other manufacturers will follow suit soon. Unless you're running an army of cameras, power consumption is fairly low, and CPU heat can be handled with heatsinks. In the meantime, some users have simply removed their fans, but I cannot recommend this, since the power supply unit can get very hot without a fan. The Noctra fans are excellent and one efficient fan can be used instead of two traditional fans. It's hard to blame Amcrest for all of this because these NVRs are so "universal".

Amcrest POE NVRs use a separate network when connected to the back POE Ports. Just be aware.
