We used a smaller digital scale than this and it's amazing how convenient it is to stand 1.2 inches wider than this Taylor scale. (12.2 inches versus 11 inches for the other). This is a simple device that requires 3 AAA batteries (included) and is placed on the floor. Walk until the number lights up, then walk back until you get "0,0". ". This will calibrate the scale and you're good to go. It measures in 0.2 pound increments. There are also settings for kilograms and stones (hello UK!) if that's what you want! Sometimes we put them flips to the side between uses. and if you do, you'll need to re-calibrate to use it again. Easy to read, the black numbers on a white background will flash when the weight is logged and stay for a few seconds even after dismounting long on.Accuracy?So compared to our smaller digital scale this Taylor scale always seemed about 1% lighter so if you weigh 101 on the other scale you weigh 100 on the Taylor scale Which one is correct I say the one that makes me lose a pound or two! 4.5 stars.
