They fit my son very well. We looked for ones that fit snugly around the leg so pants or shorts wouldn't lift them up. They are perfect for that. They are advertised as "mesh" but are made of cotton which makes them quite thick. This can be problematic for an older child, but cotton is fine for an active toddler. The belt is very thick which bothered my son for a while and I had to struggle daily to convince him to try them.
