update: I am very happy with the quality of these cables. When I've bought cables from other manufacturers in the past, they haven't lasted more than a few months. I started spending money on Apple cables when I was concerned about the impact "cheap" cables would have on our phones as they don't last long and don't charge constantly. Then I found these cables. They were great so when my youngest daughter needed a charger for her cell phone I immediately reordered these cables. Man and wallet are grateful. I have no problem using the same cable for years, but my kids wear them out as fast as they outgrow their shoes. I usually buy a replacement from Apple because I'm very scared of the phone, but it's gotten more and more expensive. I bought this primarily for my 15 year old when his Apple cable stopped working but grabbed one for myself to leave in the car. Haven't had any problems so far, excellent value for money.
