I bought them to make earrings. I had no trouble attaching the post to my earrings, but once complete I reattached the earrings to the post and ONLY IN THIS ORIGINAL position, the back of the earring was deformed in such a way that it slipped slightly off the earring when put on. The two twisted metal sides just pulled apart when I first put it on the stand and it couldn't stay on the stand. I've already made about 30 pairs of earrings and this has happened about 70% of the time. I would not recommend this product as you will need to purchase additional backdrops elsewhere to replace any included in this pack.
