Hey Barbie/Matel, maybe you should reconsider the company's original mission statement. The image of the product is positive, progressive and inspiring for many children, which I really appreciate. However, product quality continues to decline, the materials used to make products are thin/cheap plastics and fabrics, and consumers are charged a premium price for products I would expect to find in a dollar store. Profitability certainly supports the ability to honor the community and advance the company's mission, but charging a high price for a low-quality product just to make money misses the mission. Barbie was and remains more than just a toy, she has inspired and inspired many.
