Review on 🍹 Vitamix A2300 Ascent Series Smart Blender: Professional-Grade, 64 oz. Low-Profile Container in Black - Ultimate Mixing Master by Mayur Kreps

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I bought both an Ascend 2300 and a refurbished 5300. explanation of the differences.

We wanted a great blender for health reasons, but budget was a big consideration. We put it on our Revain loyalty card for 6 months of financing. We initially ordered a refurbished 5300 at a price of 299.00. We fell in love with him immediately. The capabilities of these machines are amazing. However, I was interested in the differences between all models, so I continued my research. When the 2300 was only $70 more, I wondered if it was worth the small difference. Extra warranty (10 vs 5) and several other reasons we decided to keep 2300 and return 5300. Here's why. I want to point out something that is very important when comparing all Vitamix models sold as home appliances. In fact, there is no difference in the machine's capabilities in terms of actual mixing performance! If you search google for a commercial vitamix blender you will get a completely different part of their site. These are used in bars, canteen kitchens, etc. Now they are really expensive! Even home-use models that say Pro offer extra features, not performance. The warranty cards for home use models also clearly state that commercial use voids the warranty. On the differences in why we chose the Ascend 2300 over the 5300. (Note that most of the actual changes to the Ascend series were based on longstanding suggestions from Vitamix customers.) The primary reason was the warranty. 70 dollars more. (the price fluctuates daily by the way) is a smart financial move. The 2300 has a quieter motor, but it's only really noticeable when it's set to a lower number. Because so many recipes call for blending at level 10, the noise level is about the same. We prefer the positive click you hear when you attach the lid. They feel more secure than the 5300's rubber lid. Also, the lid stub looks nicer when closed. The measurements on the side of the 2300 container are much easier to read. The spout has been improved to reduce spills. .As some recipes take some time to blend, the countdown timer feature is useful but not essential when you can look at any clock. a review of the custom sized adapter canister for the 5300 series. It's functional but clumsy and it seems too easy not to cap it properly and splatter it with the mix! Ascend's personal-sized case is due to be released soon and has a completely different design. Hope this helps people. To edit. I would like to point out that I have had an extensive discussion with Vitamix Support regarding the differences I wrote about. I'm telling the truth!
