I love these things! I needed to join two lines from an existing line. We all know how painful this can be as cutting an existing line always leaves you "short" trying to tie them all together. These things made it easy - put in a new junction box, plug them all in and BAM! Everything is ready. Yes, they're more expensive than good old wire nuts, but I'll always use them for this type of work, as I'm sure they'll connect and stay connected (who doesn't already have a bunch of wires in the housings so one can slip off the wire nut?) These bad guys won't do that. Highly recommended.
