I tried Vivo shoes and they were too narrow. I have a pair of unsupported sneakers that I love, but this Xero shoe was perfect when you are transitioning from a full support shoe to a minimal support shoe! They have a little support to help with the transition. I think the reviews I read said they were small. I normally wear a women's size 9, so I bought a 9.5, found it too small, bought a 10 and wore both around the house. I chose 10 and now I understand that I should have stopped at 9.5. The number 10 is too long, so I feel like I'm wearing clown shoes. dear mistake
