I like the design and the material/stretch is much nicer than the previous set of pre-sewn buttons. They held tight but always wanted to slip off my head. I think with the extra stretch they hold up a lot better. I forgot to check if the buttons were pre-sewn! So I sewed on some large buttons to make me comfortable wearing masks during my shift. The material varies a little. Some are softer/silkier while others have a rougher texture. The only thing that bothers me is that the one in the pink cage is already broken. I think I could sew this together, but I don't have a machine so I couldn't even use it.
