works very well on the dashboard and interior of our cars! seems to have a lasting shine, I have 1 month after first use and the inside is still shiny and looks clean. Doesn't work on exterior trim and bumpers, fades or evaporates within a few days. I also have a warning, don't repeat this on clear plastic, it poisons them if they appear white or foggy, I splashed on the instrument cluster and didn't notice for a couple of days. I noticed this because the plastic turned white/foggy. I had to remove the instrument panel and replace the clean instrument panel. It was my fault for not paying attention, so I warn you, and also not to make my mistake. The reason for the 3 stars is the price wow expensive unless I'm only using it a year or less and the fact that it will damage Honda sensor clusters if you leave it on.
