Think about logistics before buying. Is your tablet on a raised surface or do you kneel to clean it? If you're like me, when you're cleaning a box, you squat on the floor, which means you press the floor pedal with your hand instead of your foot. The lid doesn't give you the option to stay open by yourself, so you have to constantly press the pedal with your foot/hand or just hold the lid open with your hand. Filler Filler opening is too high to get filler into tray from crouch/kneeling position. Because I never felt like I could get the litter box close enough (even though the litter box and the litter box are actually touching), I've spilled dirty litter on my shoes and floor several times. Bullshit The throwmaster's side door (the one you have to shovel against) is a terrible concept. With just one use, you'll get feces and dirty waste everywhere; and they expect you to turn the lock with your bare hands? I was very careful not to get my tray dirty and after each tray cleaning it was still a disgusting mess. Why does the shovel have to dangle sideways? Why couldn't they put a cup to the side to hide the dirty end of the shovel so the shovel wouldn't bounce off the debris falling to the ground from the side? The Littermaster REALLY smells. Even after I cleaned it and boxed it up for return, it still stank of my car just on the way to UPS. I'm not saying there's no place in the world for a garbage collector - if your house is a long way from the nearest garbage can, this is a good decision. I just think the design needs some changes. Also, you must FIRST bag your dirty litter and THEN dispose of those bags in the litter box. In other words, don't put the litter directly into the basket with a dustpan like the litter litter intended. The simple fact that I bagged the trash before throwing it out made the trash championship meaningless to me. But that's just my situation and my honest assessment of the throwmaster. I hope it helps!
