We were looking for a good, durable collar for our big guy and are glad we found it. The collar itself is very well made. It has a nice clip that is easy to put on and take off, an extra loop for dog tags and the neoprene prevents the collar from rubbing against the neck. Nice that it's reflective too as our boy is almost all black and very difficult to see at night. We had two problems with this collar. Firstly, there isn't much room on this collar to adjust the size. It would probably be easy to make the collar bigger, but if it were smaller the velcro would hang down as the velcro doesn't fully enclose the collar. Second, we've only had this collar for a month or two and were already having trouble keeping the velcro in place. It looks like a very strong velcro, but wears out quickly and the seams have come undone. I'm disappointed with this, but I liked the collar so much that I replaced the velcro that fell off and added a sturdy clasp that should fix the problem. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for this issue. Overall I'm happy with it and our son seems to like it too.
