I ordered red under the cover of a check book. I really liked the design of this one pen holder from the photos on Revain and personally it's the same. It's thick and seems durable. The only downside is that the red color is some kind of fake. I just received this item today and have started applying leather conditioner to it as I do all my leather items. Sponge washed off the red paint. So my red case is now bordeaux, which still fits and I like. However, do not use leather conditioner if you want to keep the red color. I'm a little disappointed, I wish there was information to this information so I can enjoy the red halter for more than 15 minutes. The good news is that it won't bleed profusely anymore. I use it with a fountain pen and it holds securely inside. Just a little hard to pull it out. Overall, I really like this pen holder.
