I was trying to replace the LED strip on my TV with these because I want the remote control and the ability to react to music would like. I ended up having to send them back and will continue to use the bare adhesive strips. This light is comfortable and diffuse, but not bright enough to illuminate the space behind a large 65-70 inch TV. I put them on, one bar on each side of the TV, but without something on the top edge the effect was too weak. The room had to be completely dark to even see the color. I waited a few days to see if the set would grow on me, but instead one of the lights fell off the included bracket intact and the other side looked like it was on the move too. The black plastic brackets don't really stick to the light strips, there is a thin adhesive sticker for that, but it doesn't seem to be strong enough for continuous use. Bottom line: if you're using them with the included desktop stand for a 32" computer monitor or smaller TV for a dedicated gaming rig, etc., they're great. They just aren't powerful enough to illuminate a large wall behind a large movie TV.
