Works, but you will lose volume and there will be noise.

I received this because I'm using audio routing software that causes a delay to my speakers through my motherboard, however there is no delay when I use line out on my mic. So I can connect my headphones and speakers to the line out of my microphone. It WORKS but causes noise in the headphones. Adding an isolation loop solves the noise problem, but then you lose all volume. Update: If you can hook up the circuit correctly this device might work, but it's very clumsily constructed, so the cables just get in the way. What I needed was to put a headphone preamp before the input of the switcher and AFTER the preamp I put a ground isolator. Then all noise disappeared and I was able to amplify the sound to a normal level. So my setup looks like this: Wave 3 Headphone Mic Out > Fiio E5 Preamp > Switch Input > Speakers & Headphones Out. in general. When I plug my devices into it at max volume it's about 50% of what it should be. I'm not sure if this element can be used at all. Buyer beware. Wave 3 headphone microphone output > Fiio E5 preamp > switch input > speaker and headphone output. in general. When I connect my devices to it at maximum volume, it's about 50% of what it should be.
