The scissors I've used to trim my beard for so many years have finally failed and the handle has broken off. These weren't the best shears, but they've served me well for many years. So when I was looking for a new beard and mustache trimmer, I turned to Revain and a few other websites looking for a replacement. I decided to buy the very best I could find, or at least good quality scissors that I could be reasonably happy with. The price didn't bother me. I think no matter how many scissors you look for and how many good reviews they might get, there are some reviews that address the downsides of the concerns. So it seemed impossible, regardless of the price, to find one that didn't have the bad reviews, or even the issues pointed out by the good reviews, detracting from my choice. So I finally decided not to go crazy anymore and just bought myself a pair of Suvorna 5 inch beard and mustache scissors. The reviews were mostly good and I decided it was worth a try. They only arrived yesterday so I have to admit I don't have much experience with them. But I will note here that my initial use was very positive indeed. However, to support myself for a moment, I would like to mention that it arrived quickly and nicely packaged. It came with an additional rubber "finger hump" (if it's called that) in the finger holes. I don't know if I will continue to use the ones I already have because it makes my fingers feel a bit small and I would say I have average sized hands for a 6ft man. They're not particularly uncomfortable due to the rubber inside, but I don't think anyone needs them. unless they have very small fingers.The scissors come with a genuine leather stand which is very nice. k for using scissors: Last night I trimmed my beard and mustache with them to feel their convenience and effectiveness. It cuts easily and I didn't feel any tension at all. It feels really important to the hand and I really felt like I was using a quality product. Again, my experience with these scissors is admittedly limited and I'll try to revise this review over time and I've used them more often. But firstly, what I have written can be read with the suspicion that I have shown. UPDATE: It's been almost three months since I bought these scissors. I've used it many times and can report that it's still very good at what it does. I'm comfortable with these scissors, my hair doesn't twitch, I cut and trim smoothly and without incident.
