These kitchen towels are a good size. I wash dishes by hand a lot and they do a great job. They also dry quickly, which is nice. The two negatives I've encountered relate to washing the coffee filter or trying to wipe down the counters. First, coffee grounds clings terribly to the fibers of these fabrics. You can't just wash them off. Second, they just don't clean surfaces like counters thoroughly. The residue is left in streaks, which then dry up and look worse than when they started. So if you're used to using double-faced washcloths, I'd recommend using a plain cotton washcloth over this one.
