You take your iPod with you wherever you go. You may think that this is the perfect place to store your photos. For now I would recommend finding another solution. First, this device is slow. This isn't very surprising considering it's streaming over USB, but it's still very slow. And since the iPod spends all of its time recording to its HD, the transfer will completely drain your iPod's (and possibly your camera's) battery. Your photos appear as opaque "scrolls" on your iPod. The only way to ensure that all of your photos are transferred is to compare the number of photos on your iPod and on your camera. I was aware of these limitations when purchasing the product, so none of them disappointed me (although my wife was surprised). how clumsy it was). Disappointment came when halfway through our month-long vacation, Camera Link made sure my iPod was full and refused to do any transfers. When I checked, my iPod had 4GB of free space. Attempts to transfer from the camera. Tried by my wife. Nothing. The device suddenly turned into a useless brick. In a bit of a panic, we found a department store with kiosks that copy your memory card to a CD. This is a much better solution in my opinion. It was quicker to go to the store, pop in a memory card, and burn a CD than sitting in a hotel room waiting for the thing to work. Also cheaper. I will do the same on my next vacation.
