Review on 🖥️ LG PHILIPS LP173WD1(TL)(C1) 17.3" WXGA++ Glossy LCD SCREEN: Crisp Visuals & Premium Clarity by Justin Bradford

I ordered this item to replace the screen on my Asus G72GX. I selected this model on Amazon because it was accurately marked with the make, model and part number PLUS it shipped with Prime. Fiction! I received the item and opened the box. A standard sticker on the outside of the bubble-wrapped screen confirmed that it was the LG PHILIPS LP173WD1(TL)(C1) 17.3" WXGA. So far, good. I unpacked the bubble wrap and checked the product , to make sure it isn't damaged.or there was condensation (delivery during winter frosts).Correct size, correct general likeness and correct shape to my uninformed eye.HOWEVER the screen itself, despite the listing on Revain and the sticker on the Packaging material actually NOT the same item listed. This is a different product from a different manufacturer with a completely different part number and design on the back of the screen. The label said it was Optics or Optio or something like that. I have it side by side Compare page to the screen I removed and they don't match it doesn't have a glossy screen it has more drains hte in a different configuration and I can't prove it, but I'm pretty sure it's NOT EXACTLY the same permission. , full disclosure: I have the E-Monitor installed and am using it as I write this. I have not complained or returned it as it worked and I was dying to get my laptop working again. It works great and all, but don't be fooled. This is NOT an original LG screen for ASUS G72GX computers and others, despite the listing and labeling on the box. 2 stars for functionality but overall negative rating for the old switch.
