Well I knew it was more of a leather than a case when I bought it and that's certainly true, but which I didn't anticipate had, the joy con covers prevent you from putting the joy con on the controller to play in the dock. So if you don't already have a professional controller (I don't), this is more trouble than it's worth. This probably applies to all such covers.
