I use this extender on a long extension in my shop. I prefer to charge my USB rechargeable work lights with a timer so they don't get charged 24 hours a day. I don't know if that matters, but that's the manufacturer's recommendation. The KOOPER Cube is easy to connect to my timer and I have access to all standard 110 volt Cube outlets. This arrangement also provides access to all three USB ports, which are located directly on the front panel. I can plug in some USB lights and set them to charge, and some lower amp 110 volt rechargeable tools and they work great. A small LED indicator shows me that the timer and power strip are on and working. I used to travel a lot and always had a bulky 110 volt extension cord with me. There never seemed to be enough outlets in a hotel room (or at least they were never where I needed them). This little device would take up a lot less space when traveling and would provide the access to power I need without being bulky. Next time I go this will be one of the first things to pack.
