Review on ZenToes Wooden Foot Massager: Acupressure Rollers for Effective Relief of Plantar Fasciitis and Neuropathy Foot Pain by Jason Kovak

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not much for a deep tissue massage, tiny bulges.

Overall it's well made and fits my large feet. Seems cheap for what its building is. However, I love that this company has people with different skill sets, so it might be worth spending some money to keep this going. I find the protrusions too small and prick more than a massage. It appears to be more of a skin massage than a deep tissue massage, requiring larger/longer nubs to push deeper into the sole of the foot. I prefer hard plastic, large studs although they are painful, take some getting used to and they work better for blood circulation deep in the foot. Hold my foot to roll it back and forth with each squeeze. More effort than massaging my feet is worth. I wear size 9-9.5 women's shoes and they fit my large feet for the most part. The tabs are rubber bands that fit over each individual pulley and move from side to side. I'm not sure how long these bands will last as I press fairly hard for a deeper tissue massage. It really hurts at first as the dots are tiny, but you can get used to it and press harder for a better massage - if you can keep your legs moving, which I can't do without lifting the leg, reducing the pressure exerted decreased to get the massage I prefer. I stick with my hard plastic ball, which I can put as much pressure on as I want or can handle.

Pros
  • Foot massager
Cons
  • Big and chunky
