Good for carrying the meter safely, but no more than that

This is a well built case that is strong enough to provide good protection for Fluke test tools. Out of the box, the inner foam fits my Fluke 115 almost perfectly, but leaves no room for cables. These can be fed into the lid storage net, but this leaves no room for a user manual or other accessories. I have a problem with my Fluke trailer accessory kit. It's handy to have a strap with a hook and magnet on the gauge, but the mounting clip sticks out just far enough from the top that the inner foam can't be used inside the case. However, this is not a complete failure. Removing the foam frees up space so coiled wires can now be squeezed between the meter and the side of the case and a velcro strap keeps everything in place. The inner walls of the case are covered with flock so nothing gets scratched or damaged. There was just no more foam padding to absorb the impact if it fell. In general I agree and I think the risk of damage is low, but if I had to do it again I would look for a suitcase a few inches larger in the L and W sizes.
