We bought this case for our granddaughter because it is very similar to the one the school board gave her for 4k training last year. Many suitcases sold have special handles that allow the child to carry or hold the suitcase while it's moving. We were looking for a simple blanket that she can use while sitting at the table or on the couch. (In other words, the case looks more like the one her school put out.) This new case is just as strong and almost identical to her old case (except for the color). The built-in stand for the suitcase is identical to the school stand. It comes with a transparent protective shield that sits between the iPad and the case (again, just like your previous school case). When choosing a case, we started from durability and ease of use. Because this case looks and feels like her school suitcase and because it has already protected her iPad from a few drops from 3ft and her 2 year old brother I think we made a good purchase.
