Good product but not well thought out for motorcycles

I have a 2020 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Limited and from the description it would make a good handlebar phone mount. Item received quickly and installed the next day. It looks like a good charger to be honest and I'm very happy with it even though I only installed it two days ago. If you are relatively familiar with the bike, you can install it yourself as it is quite easy. All you have to do is connect the wires to the battery terminals. Light. The hardest part is laying the wire. If you don't have hands you can take it to someone who knows what they're doing and they can install it on most bikes in about an hour. Pros: The product looks well made. I like the functionality and the clamping mechanism (which clamps on the four corners of your phone) which seems very easy to use. You simply press the two side buttons to remove the phone, then press the phone against the back and the four corner clips snap into place. I rode the bike this afternoon and while the phone mount was easy to adjust, it stayed stable throughout the ride. I am very happy. The phone also charges via wireless charging as described, although my phone has a thin, clear (flexible) plastic case. So far I like it a lot even though it's new. However, I am skeptical of how long it will last and work as it is made in China simply because my experience with Chinese products is that they are often of poor quality or have no quality control during production. Just take a look. Installing the mount was pretty easy. My bike is brand new and I have never taken it apart. A 15 minute YouTube video showed me how to remove the seat and gas tank for proper installation and wiring. Installation took about 90 minutes considering I didn't know what I was doing. I had to make an extra trip to the hardware store to buy bike removal tools to route wires to the battery. The phone charger only comes with a bracket and mounting hardware, and it has a cable attached to it, so nothing fancy. The task is to correctly route the cable to the battery so that it does not interfere. There are several small mounting accessories in the box, presumably designed for different handlebar or mount configurations. I actually took everything off the bike and everything fitted perfectly. I installed mine on the right handlebar near the throttle because I'm right handed. Cons (What I don't like): While I like the functionality of the product, there are a few things that I didn't like or didn't like. happy to prevent me from giving this 5 stars. 1) There were no instructions included with the charging cradle. Nothing at all. Not even paper. All you get is a brown box with parts inside. Most of the parts don't fit my setup so I'm keeping the box for a while in case I need it. 2) The cable provided and pre-connected to the charger is about 12 inches shorter than necessary. Route and hide on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. As a result, I couldn't route the wire behind the steering wheel like other wires are routed. Now I've exposed about a foot of wire and hanging there. Two small black zip ties are included, but I'll most likely need 4 or 5 once I figure out how to hide the wire as best as possible. I have to go to the hardware store again for the black cable ties. 3) The button on the back of the charger is really tiny and covered with a little clear rubber coating to keep it dry. It's a 3-way button, so you have off, on. USBโ€ and "Wireless chargingโ€. You cannot enable USB and wireless charging at the same time. I have big hands and big fingers, and even without gloves, it was difficult to get the switch into any of the charging positions. With the rubberized lid, I couldn't get it to snap into place. In fact, I initially thought the charger was defective until I finally used a tool to force the switch to stay in the wireless charging position to make sure it was working. Looks like you can't turn the thing off unless the bike has been in storage for a while. I can't imagine how you can operate a small switch with motorcycle gloves. I hope this doesn't drain my battery.
