We need small stools for our swivel/push chairs. They were too short or low for real comfort, but we bought some furniture legs separately to attach to the bottom and raise them an additional 4-5 inches. We haven't done it yet, but we'll get to that project. Otherwise they are well made for economical storage boxes. They're padded, nicely stitched at the top, and amazingly support the weight of a 180-pound person sitting on them. Not sure they will hold that much weight over time but as a footstool they were good. I wish they had a stronger bottom but we will add some plywood or MDF to the bottom where we will attach the legs. Gray has a slightly bluish undertone, but it's difficult to get perfect shades of gray as there are a million shades of gray. For us, it was more of a contrast than a perfect match, and that's okay.
