My RESlider is 7 inches tall so doesn't fit well on the fancy little floating platforms that are everywhere. He's not chirping from that broad base like last time. This one isn't big enough to hold half of its 10-gallon tank either. (I know. He needs a bigger tank but we have nowhere to put him.) The only improvement I would ask for is some texture on the ramp itself to make it easier for him to climb onto the platform. Its claws now sometimes appear in holes. Yes, it would be a real nightmare if there weren't any algae, but this is acrylic. It can be washed in the dishwasher.
