A good kettle when it works. I was waiting to write a review for accuracy, not rush and fuss. Today 01/20/2018 I bought this kettle on 03/27/2017. Worked until mid-October. Then I started having issues where the kettle wouldn't turn on every time for a week or two. Then it worked fine again until it died completely last week. I assured it, I called them and they told me to call Ovente direct because the product has a 1 year product defect guarantee. Asurion is for all the other things that Ovente doesn't cover. Ovente is closed on weekends. I'll call back and see how it goes and update the review. To be honest for the price I don't think it's worth the insurance and phone time! Update: I contacted the oven via email, they asked me to send a small number, a copy of the order and a short video of the kettle. I did it on 2/3 and today 2/12 I received my brand new kettle! So if you're not in a hurry and want to take advantage of the one-year warranty, it will actually replace it. The online support team responded very quickly. Now if the new one breaks before 3 years is up I have Assurion insurance. At the same time I used the microwave, but I really prefer to use the kettle! Hope that helps! Now 4 stars! Rschunimagu
