Review on πŸ•οΈ Fltom 1 Person Camping Tent: Lightweight, Waterproof, and Portable for Camping and Hiking - Complete with Carry Bag! by Brett Gilbert

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A good generic for its price range.

My goal/purchase is a late spring to mid summer stargazing trip with an overnight to a maximum of 2 nights in the high desert with a telescope. The maximum goal is 13-15 pounds total carry weight. Of all the tent types on the market, I chose the bivouac tent because it's lightweight, easy to set up, and simply tinted yellow for future emergencies. My previous outdoor experience and current budget for new suitable equipment were extremely important factors in my purchasing decision. Competitors charge double or more for similar quality. When I received my package I had doubts about the tent itself due to the lack of a logo on the tent, assembly instructions or advertising on the small matte brown box. was packed. After checking the tent frame and all the details, adjust the tent and zippers in good condition. I was disappointed that the floor of this tent was not made of the heavy tarpaulin that is standard on most bathtub floor dome tents. Maybe that's because of its light weight. I pitched the tent on the ground and jumped in. I was pleased with the construction of the tent and the 2-way independent zippers to protect my head from bugs and a fully sealed body with protected ventilation. I'm a 5'11" male, 40, of heavy build, and felt a little cramped but comfortable in a fully enclosed bivouac tent. I was able to rotate on either side and flex my knees a bit for more comfort, while i noticed that this Biwai tent would only be used for sleeping.Inside there is enough space for a simple compact inflatable mat and a compact lightweight sleeping bag.A person can comfortably sleep in a closed tent with a small daypack next to the personal one I would not recommend this tent to anyone over 6ft due to its size limitations.I tested several areas on a pitched tent with a water spray bottle.I soaked the outside of the leg area, blind spot and the outside of the head with all zips on the pitched bivouac tent. I walked away for a few minutes and jumped in, I found no seepage and it was dry inside The Un I did not check the underside due to the intended outdoor use of the outer surface. I would recommend a new outer seal after the first season of use. I would recommend a separate outer tarpaulin or ground rail for the tent if used outdoors. This is to prevent damage to the thin layer of soil and possible seepage from rain, condensation, unwanted inviting road bugs, etc. For the price, this versatile, logo-free tent should offer multiple seasons of standard use. As with all tents, thread the assembled poles carefully and carefully (without using force) through the tent liner to avoid accidental tearing when setting up or taking down the tent.
