Comes with a 20V 2A battery. The SKIL PowerCore20 system is phenomenal. You can use the same batteries for the entire PowerCore20 tool line. but make sure you get a backup if you're doing big grinding jobs. Or just get another PowerCore20 tool as they all come with at least a 2 or 4 amp battery. Brilliant.
