.Incredible sound base. Have this connected to a Vizio 24 inch D-series HDTV via HDMI ARC which is connected to a Xfinity cable box via HDMI. This soundbase takes the place of very tinny speakers on the Vizio television. IT turns on and off by the cable remote when the TV is turned on and off. No set up really. Plugged cable HDMI ARC on this and the TV and it was immediately recognized and sound started coming out. Didn't need to do anything else. No need for the Bluetooth connection so I haven't tried it or used the provided remote. This unit makes it easier for my 87 year old mom to understand what is on television without having to turn the volume up full blast. Highly recommended. Very happy with purchase.
