Print quality leaves a lot to be desired.

I did a lot of research and read many reviews before buying this product. I preferred it to the dual tray version due to the difference in price for the few differences you get (I'm on a budget). Now that I've used it a few times I'm not very happy with it. I have printed: normal text printing large format printing, mostly color text transfer on t-shirt photos on cards photos and text on cards (very foldable cards) Good: - easy to read control panel - fairly fast prints - large format paper (main reason I bought it) -price was good Bad: -It's big, but I knew it and there's a place for it -Not very convenient print commands and difficult to set up Ugly: -Manual input tray is on the back of the machine, so it's difficult to feed paper there and you can only load one sheet at a time - the manual feed tray feeds paper at an angle when it pulls it in - so far the printer has tried to put paper in the manual feed tray every time I didn't read it and had to take it out and replace it a couple of times. - Photo quality sucks. I set the print to Best and Photo, but the colors are still faded and the edges are fuzzy. This is on regular paper and card stock. (I haven't tried glossy photo paper). - I was trying to print both sides of Avery cards and it got stuck trying to print on the back. I tried both the main tray (stuck immediately) and the manual feed tray (stuck at the back). I'm not sure why it claims to be able to do this when it didn't work for me at all. All in all I bought it hoping to add some flair to my business at home and create my own cards. It's been a disappointment on all the features I'm trying to print, especially the images. Very sad and now I'm stuck due to my limited budget which I wanted to help by printing my own marketing materials! Ha! Definitely wouldn't buy again, maybe not a Brother brand due to poor print quality. I tried to print on both sides.
