This SK 3/8 rotary head ratchet is amazing. I bought this ratchet to replace my old Craftsman ratchets as they are now made in China (didn't want to break my US made Cman and got a Chinese one instead). This SK ratchet is made in the USA, has a very smooth ratcheting action and the finish is superb. Something to note about this ratchet, it doesn't have a button to release the socket but pull hard on it to loosen it, also something I didn't expect as my dad didn't have this in an old SK from the 80's: it tension has a bolt built into the ratchet shaft that you can loosen with a T-25 torx socket, the lugs that the bolt goes into are cut into the ratchet shaft - no need to mess with flimsy nuts, you can they solve . or tighten it to your liking. The finish on the sockets is mirrored, I can literally see my face reflected in the ratchet head. The knurled handle is solid, this ratchet is actually light for its size, I have smaller Craftsman ratchets that are heavier than this. I can say that this ratchet has no plastic parts, it is all metal. Disassembling the ratchet for servicing is very easy, there is a clip that you need to squeeze with either small angled needle nose pliers or snap ring pliers. My dad's experience when he was a mechanic was all he did was call SK and they sent him a rebuild kit for free. I will be buying more SK products in the future.
