Perfect Daypack: Hiking Daypacks

Love this backpack! My trial hike was a 10 mile mountain trail and I was impressed. It's right size for day hikes, hydration compatible and incredibly supportive. The waistbelt does a great job of transferring weight and the support strap system helps secure the entire pack so nobody's getting pushed around. The material feels thick and durable, it comes with a rain cover and the stretchy side pockets are perfect for a Nalgen. The back pockets come in handy for small items, but I have to say they aren't comfortable for holding a large smartphone in them (it wasn't a problem for me as I prefer to keep my phone in my pocket). I'm 5'4" and the small size fits me perfectly. Overall I'm delighted with this backpack. I'm even more excited about it than when I first wrote the review. It holds up great and I love how comfortable and supportive it is. Me doesn't have to lug around as much as this backpack can hold. The frame does a great job of transferring weight and the design allows for good airflow. In fact, my husband is planning on getting a Zulu (the men's version of this backpack) because he loves mine so much !
