UPDATE: After 3 months of use they started to stick when closed as the plastic rubs and corrodes. The spring can rub. I have to buy another pair now but I will look into another brand. ORIGINAL: This is fantastic. I've just started making patchwork quilts and this is the tool I need to make those thousands upon thousands of cuts in a quilt that's up to 6 plies thick in places. I can't believe how spicy they are. And I must warn anyone with children in the house to HIDE IT. Not only can they be misused on paper or tarnishing materials, they're sharp enough to instantly cut little fingers.
