I wash everything when it's new. I washed them in warm water and they shrunk, but I'm glad they did - I counted on them! Now they are about 14x14. My mum always carried these "handkerchiefs" with her and now I understand why - it's far better to have at the gym etc than facial tissues that crumple and fall apart. Also more "green", and these days I think it matters!
