Review on πŸš€ Enhance Engine Performance with Denso 234-9050 Air Fuel Ratio Sensor by Eric Salem

Worked great on my 2012 Tacoma 2.7 - helped clear code P0138

This is the correct front A/F sensor or front oxygen sensor for a 2012 Tacoma. I am struggling with a code P0138 which is a high voltage on the rear sensor. Replacing the rear sensor did not help. However, when I replaced the front sensor, that went away. It looks like the front sensor was off causing the engine to run rich causing the ECU to think the bottom sensor was off. Upon examining this particular code, it seems that about 40% end up with a bad front sensor, about 40% with a bad rear sensor, and 20% just swap out both sensors at the same time, and that's it. In any case, I swapped out the front and rear sensors, which cleared the code and allowed the ECU to complete the diagnostic cycle. At that point, he was finally able to evaluate the effectiveness of the catalytic converter, determined that it was too low, and issued a code P0420. Attention taco lovers. There is a 20-10 recall for 2014 Tacoma 2.7 due to bad catalytic converters. Luckily mine was still unfinished and my dealer replaced my two cats for free and FINALLY cleared the code. Good business.
