The temperature on this thermometer is consistently 5F higher than the weather app (outside)/my home thermostat (inside) shows. As it is constant I know that if I put it in my greenhouse if I subtract 5° that will be the exact temperature. I haven't tested the hygrometer's accuracy yet, but it also seems pretty stable, so as soon as I check my weather app I know the exact number to add or subtract to get an accurate reading. I've had major accuracy issues with digital thermometers/hygrometers in my price range in the past and don't want to have to guess when to replace the battery or keep paying for extra batteries and giving them away. old ones in a place where they can be safely disposed of. We don't have electricity outside so I can't just take one that's connected to the grid. This analogue measuring device solves all these problems and is also economical. Highly recommended.
