Review on URayTech Protocol Conference Broadcast Recording by Matt Kucrud

You don't need to know the network to use this!

My congregation used an iPad for live broadcasts, but our circumstances changed and we needed to use a video camera. As a local expert (no networking knowledge), I decided to use a hardware encoder to make it easier for our volunteers to start and stop a live broadcast. After doing some research and not fully understanding what I was reading, I bought this encoder and I'm very glad I did! Where we are now, our volunteer just needs to turn on the encoder to start live streaming and turn off the encoder to stop live streaming (an encoder is connected to it to enable turning on and off https:/ /www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07W53C4FQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I'm sure if you know about networking, setting up the encoder is easy. I'm not competent. Luckily the instructions were clear and helpful. You have to do some technical things to get this encoder working, but the instructions made it easy. I didn't know what I was doing (I still don't know what I was doing), but I was able to get the live stream working just by following the step-by-step instructions. I was able to test it easily on Facebook and YouTube. (The instructions were very clear!). I had some trouble setting up a live stream through our streaming host, but that was due to messing up my login credentials. The only problem I had with this encoder was with audio. Whenever the audio went through the live broadcast, the audio continued to appear. I've changed cameras, cables, audio inputs, etc. and concluded that the problem is in the encoder. I contacted support and they were able to solve my problem. I spent hours trying to solve this problem and it turned out I only had to adjust one setting on the encoder. If you have this problem, try changing your audio sample rate from 44100 to 48000. Great encoder, great instructions and great support! PS: when you enter your server url in the encoder, make sure there are no spaces! I don't know how many times it has let me down.
