Great food for my dog with grain, gluten and chicken intolerance and sensitivity to peas, yeast and potatoes. He is a 100lb Labrador/Shepherd who needs to lose about 15lbs. His weight loss serving is 422 kcal/8 oz - 2.75 to 3 cups per day. His itching has greatly reduced, but his stools are usually very loose after this meal. I started adding alfalfa powder for fiber which helped me tone up. I chose this food due to its high protein and fat content combined with low carbohydrate content and excellent rating on trusted food review websites. The food is always fresh and the grits are round and thick, about 1/4 inch by 1/4 to 1/2 inch, vary. My 17 lb cat also approves of this food.
