I was actually expecting knitwear but I think others might have a very different definition of knitwear. I was hoping for a breathable fabric that could be worn all year round can be worn as a headband.These headbands are made of Durang quality polyester and spandex, a similar material that is hot to wear and not breathable.In terms of quality, the edges are reinforced with a sewing machine, so the threads will fade over time In terms of use, I can use them in the cooler months to protect my hair from the elements, but they seem better suited to being worn as a sleep bandage or layered over a higher quality fabric to protect against the elements to build a sculpture turban I am disappointed but they are not worth the hassle of returning them. meh :(
