fits like a glove, blocks the EGR port and removes emissions on the truck and allows you to use a non EGR carburetor. I have a 1987 Ford Short Bed 4x4, my dad bought a new one and it's my truck now and I removed the emissions a few years ago (over 25 years old) with an Edelbrock intake manifold and it worked fine but even the base Performer increased the height of the carburetor and made the vent tight. and i am currently installing a long block and wanted to go back to the factory 4v inlet as it is a simple standard construction and truck to tow my boat to the lake and this 1" gasket is the perfect replacement for the Remove the EGR spacer and still fit the factory carburetor bolts and nuts. The engine installation is not yet complete, but should start this weekend
