I mounted it on a high ceiling and used an extension rod. The curve above has some non-working corners so I had to block one side. It supports my Epson Powerlite Home Cinema 3000 well, but it wobbles a bit with about a 5ft extension cord. The biggest problem is the lack of page rotation. You must loosen the mounting brackets on top of the projector to rotate the projector and the angles are limited. An extension cord costs almost as much as a mount. I succeeded, but it was difficult. Haven't found any other mounts in so long, so for the price I agree with the limits.
