Review on SAMSUNG LS32A804NMNXGO 31.5" 4K Monitor with Adjustable Stand and Anti-Glare Coating by James Thomson

So, even though I set it up and have only been using it for a few days, I'm already very satisfied. I work from home and need multiple screens for my work. I use my laptop as a work computer and connect an external monitor to it as I need to be fairly portable and take my work with me on the go. As it can be difficult to have more than 6 charts for reference at the same time and also to work with reports on the same screen, I use an external monitor that my charts are raised on and then work on my reports on the laptop screen. I was using a 21 inch monitor before moving to this larger Samsung so I could only have 3 charts/graphs on screen at a time and then just scrolled to see the rest. While I could change the screen resolution to view all 6 charts at the same time, that would render the data in my charts unreadable. Upgrading to this 32 inch screen has increased the range so all 6 charts fit easily and are much easier to read overall. Heavy duty stand (all metal, no plastic) so I can tilt and adjust the screen to any angle with just one hand and not worry about it tipping over. The monitor stand has a built-in rubber loop to ease cable management (nice touch). The integrated controls are located at the bottom of the screen and positioned for easy access even when the monitor is wall mounted. There were no lines, dead pixels, shadows, or other imperfections on my screen. I connected the monitor to my laptop and it was immediately recognized and set up as a second monitor. I didn't have to fiddle with drivers or anything. The monitor has a number of preset display settings that can be accessed using the buttons on the front of the monitor. I set mine to dynamic as I like good color contrast in the charts I work with. However, you can adjust brightness/color/etc. to adjust. to create your own setting as well. For now I am very happy with how well this monitor is working for me. The large size makes reading real-time graphs and charts much easier on the eyes, especially when you need to access several of them at once for comparison. So happy with it!
