Don't know what to do and hesitate to use it again. I followed the directions and didn't oil the griddles to make "tender" fried chicken slices. Apparently the chicken got stuck to the plates during cooking and I suspect the liquids from the chicken formed a burnt residue that got stuck on the plates and ended up in the bowl next to the wiring and now I can't remove it. Do not use an abrasive metal scrubber to clean. At the moment I'm hesitant to use other records. Do you want to throw away your fried plates? I'm not sure what to do here, so any suggestions or recommendations are welcome.
