After a long dropout, I settled on the dell g7 7790 model, i7-9750 processor, RTX 2060 video. I worried for a long time about the nonsense that many wrote here. Turned off the turbo boost in the bios, now the frequency is maximum 2.6, that's enough. But now the cooling fans turn on only when I start compiling a project or launching games. Surfing the Internet, programming in a virtual machine in Linux, watching movies - the fans are silent, it's very comfortable. Played Detroit at maximum speed. I was very worried that there was no sleep mode, but the standby mode turned out to be quite a replacement for the sleep mode, there is no discomfort. If you need to save for a long time, I use hibernation. I took the most stock version with i7-9750 and RTX 2060. Added 32 Gb of RAM, stuck 1Tb 970 pro nvme m.2 and 2Tb 860 evo. You need to understand that in this configuration you will not notice any performance problems, and this is with complete noiselessness! In games, of course, it starts to make a lot of noise, but it's a laptop) Turn off turbo boost in BIOS and you will have silent and fast happiness) So through the display port (because it's smaller than hdmi) I connect to benq pd2700u, 4k, the flight is fine)
